John XXIII

Pope John XXIII (1365-1419) was born Baldassarre Cossa. He was a Cardinal until the death of Pope Alexander V in 1410 and was elevated to the position of Pope due to meddling in the papal elections by Lorenzo and Cosimo de' Medici.
