Giulio de' Medici (May 26, 1478 - Sept 25, 1534) is the illegitimate child of Giuliano de' Medici and his mistress, Fioretta Gorini. He came to the Medici’s household as a young child after his mother was killed and therefore was sent to live with his father’s family after he was killed. He was therefore raised by his uncle and aunt Lorenzo the Magnificent and Clarice Orsini along with their children. He later joined his cousin, Giovanni de' Medici, when his uncle, Lorenzo had sent him to Rome to become a priest of the church.
